What is the process for reviewing manuscripts?

We endeavour to read manuscript submissions and respond in a timely manner. Due to the large number of manuscripts we receive we occasionally take longer to reply than we would like.

Yes, if you live in Canberra or the surrounding region. Black Mountain Books is a Halstead Press imprint for books by authors in the Canberra region who are interested in co-publishing. It’s a tailor made way to publish creative writing, theses, memoirs, family histories and specialist works.
