As a child, Tony Blackwell dreamed of being a rockstar. Instead he found himself by the stage at unforgettable concerts, camera in hand, recording the music greats of the 70s and 80s. Always a keen photographer, Tony began a career in design, whilst moonlighting at rock gigs and concerts. He captured in close-up local and international artists; Bob Marley, Jimmy Barnes, Bob Geldof, Bryan Ferry, Peter Garrett and Joan Armatrading among dozens of big names. Now, in this inspired collection live portraits of the giants of rock & roll, are revealed in their prime.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
